Dr. Kevin Brown began working in the Flagstaff Unified School District in 1976 first as a teacher, then administrator in special education, elementary school principal, assistant superintendent and now superintendent.
Dr. Brown believes:
- all children have unique abilities and gifts
- public educators partner with families and community to prepare children for a rapidly changing world
- we all need the ability to learn, un-learn, and re-learn throughout our lives
- success in school requires effective learning environments, effort by students, and support by parents
